ProCam
Machine was founded in January 1995 as a partnership between Ray
Prokorym and Bruce Campbell - the Pro and Cam of ProCam. Their vision
was to create a full service machine shop, specializing in difficult
to machine parts and prototypes for the aerospace and defense industries.
In
January 1997, the company became ProCam Machine Inc. Ray and Bruce
continued to build a reputation for the company as a value-added
supplier of limited production, precision machined parts. This value-added
positioning was further enhanced by ProCam's emerging recognition
as a leader in working with exotic and refractory metals that require
close tolerances and exacting quality.
In
2000, ProCam approached Primex Aerospace to form a joint venture
with their Tactical Systems Division. Although ProCam remained a
separate company, it worked closely with Primex to help meet the
exacting demands of the aircraft, space, and defense industries.
When General Dynamics (GD) acquired Primex, ProCam purchased the
joint venture assets and moved to its new facility in Mill Creek.
With
the arrival of additional capital and leadership in October 2002,
ProCam restructured its business assets to form ProCam Machine LLC.
Ray and Bruce continued as part of the ownership group, providing
consistency of leadership and vision. Three new investors joined
the ownership group - Will McAllister, Mike Bell, and Mike Rubel.
Will and Mike Bell also joined the leadership team, working with
Ray and Bruce to continue growing ProCam's reputation as a market
leader in the manufacturing of precision machined parts for the
aircraft, space, and defense industries. Through integrity and teamwork,
ProCam is committed to:
